Question 1

What are macros and why do they matter?

Accepted Answer

Macros (macronutrients) are protein, carbohydrates, and fat — the three main nutrients your body uses for energy. Tracking them lets you eat flexibly while hitting your fat loss, muscle gain, or maintenance goals.

Question 2

How does MacroMentor work?

Accepted Answer

You fill out a short questionnaire, and Coach Scott's AI generates a personalized macro plan for your goals. You check in weekly with your stats, and Coach Scott analyzes your progress and adjusts your plan automatically.

Question 3

How much does MacroMentor cost?

Accepted Answer

MacroMentor is $6.99/month or $49/year. All plans include a personalized macro plan, weekly check-ins, Coach Scott AI chat, progress tracking, and progress photos. Cancel anytime.

Question 4

Can I cancel my MacroMentor subscription?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can cancel anytime from your dashboard. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.

Question 5

Does MacroMentor work if I'm on a GLP-1 like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro or Zepbound?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Coach Scott is trained on GLP-1 and GIP coaching: protein protection at ~1.0 g per lb of goal bodyweight, a calorie floor of roughly 10x bodyweight, a 15% maximum deficit, and reverse-diet protocols for clients tapering off. Scott coaches nutrition, training, sleep and recovery — not dosing or sourcing — and refers all medical decisions to your prescriber.

Question 6

Can MacroMentor adjust macros for hypothyroidism, Hashimoto's or PCOS?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The intake asks about thyroid status, Hashimoto's, PCOS and insulin-sensitivity history, and Coach Scott applies condition-specific macro logic — moderated deficits for hypothyroid clients, higher protein and lower-glycemic carbs for PCOS, and reverse-diet plans to rebuild metabolic capacity.

Question 7

Is it safe to use MacroMentor while on TRT, HRT or peptides like BPC-157?

Accepted Answer

MacroMentor coaches the nutrition, training and recovery stack around any prescribed protocol but never prescribes, doses, sources, or stacks compounds. A built-in safety gate flags self-sourced compounds, missing prescriber info, pregnancy/TTC/breastfeeding, and acute red flags and redirects clients to a licensed physician or urgent care before any macro change.
